Laos-ie

2012!
This is how we roll in Laos. On Elephants.
Elephants are big and so are their photos.

We love the Elephant. The Elephant didn't seem to know we were  there.

Caitlin and Bill Swinging into the River

That bucket was full of mojito now Elish is full of mojito

Throwing up Peace signs as he showered in front of the Tuk-Tuk

Went on a trek to a tribal village and watched HBO

Oh, the People You Will Meet!

This guy in Java had no teeth nor words of English but he made up with charisma!

Puppies and kiddies in Bali.

Cute kids selling road side plants in Nusa Lembongan.
Cute, but total lack of a decent business sense, up-sell people!

This cat was lazy but very spiritual.

Negotiating a bus trip in Lombok.
My laid back style ended up saving us 250,000 Rupiah
Too be fair this guy did end up convincing us to take a bus to  a different city then our intention, but for 250,000 Rupiahs less than how much he first wanted to send us there for.
Dede and the girls taught Caitlin to be a super skillful scuba diver

Some local thugs in Gerpuk Bay were feeding some stray puppies.
The guy in the middle loves Lombok.

The boat Captain is a fan of surfing and peace.
Caitlin is a fan of Smiling and staying warm.

This character has been an unsafe driver in central Lombok for over 30 years.

At Komodo National Park, they decided giving a 13 year a long stick makes him qualified to protect tourists from Komodo Dragons.

Estella, a new Spanish friend, loves Buddhism and using her body to illustrate(!) that.

These kids are petting a blind sea turtle.
The turtle is trying to eat the kids.
Circle of life people.

Our french crew, Arthur, Wilfred, and Alex bargained for 30 minutes to save us one dollar on our spacious mini bus ride to the mountains.

Albi, the greedy guide with no alcohol tolerance, explains to the locals on Gerung Gede how to rip off foreigners.  Albi was a poor teacher and these guys feed us for free.

George, our 8 year friend in the middle of Java, fixes motorbike. His 4 year old brother is a good apprentice but is easily distracted by candy bars.

You want Sunsets? I got your Sunsets.

Bukit Peninsula in Bali was the first time I had really seen the sun.
Except all those other times.

Nusa Lembongan east of Bali.
Seaweed farmer worked into the night to get the ocean looking this good.

Gili Trawangan doesn't allow motorized vechiles but does allow gas powered lamps.
This is how life in the 1800's was. They had such good sunsets.

Locals taking your picture: Good
Running after local for your camera: Good Excercise

Grupek Bay in Lombok, Indonesia.

Great models pretend like the camera isn't even there.

Grupek Bay, this was a different day. Seriously.

Surfing to the sunset.

Only way to get to the surf break was by Boat.
It gets romantic out there.

Kuta, Lombok has palm trees. Good job Lombok.

On the night bus across Sumbawa, Indonesia

Goats are so beautiful they should be sunsets

Boat Trip to Flores, it was 12 hours and 3 terrible Indonesian movies

One day on a scuba trip next to Komodo....

23 foot Manta Ray. Whoa.

Three giant Manta Rays flying in the water.
This picture is so good because each Ray gets glamour shots at the mall to practice posing.

Tongue up close, sneaky kiss in the back.

Dragon Love!!!
Don't mind me.
Bravest Boar in the world. Lives with Dragons and looks like Bacon.
Time for Dragons to rest
